Solar powered cars a Reality?
By Todd Whittemore
You could see solar panels within the next generation Toyota Prius Hybrid as soon as 2009! It has been reported that the solar panels on the new toyota Prius hybrid could reduce gas consumption by 17 to 29 percent, according to Earth2Tech. For now, the solar panels in the next generation will supplement the electric hybrid car to only contribute to 2 - 5 kilowatts to power the air conditioning system. But eventually the automaker would like to engineer a vehicle to be completely driven by 100% solar power. No that is innovation at its best to drive our world in a better direction for energy conservation and world preservation
