Are you enjoying the LOW prices of gas?

I sure am enjoying the low gas prices and anyone else I don't think is complaining!
(Except oil investors that do not like dropping oil prices) Yesterday, I found a gas station that was offering $2.29 per gallon! During the summer, I never ever thought we would be below $3 per gallon. No one did.
I wanted to partially fill up my tank this time. It was completely EMPTY with the low fuel light buzzing.
I was expecting and used to spending $60 thinking that it would be 3/4 full in the Chevy Avalanche!
Suddenly, the pump stopped at $55! I thought that the pump was faulty so I was trying to force more gas in the tank, but it just wasn't going to pump further. So I gave up thinking that there would be another try at another gas station at later time.
When I started my car, to my amazement, the tank was truly FULL! I guess it has been so long seeing the gas prices this low, I wasn't used to the tank filling up less than $60. As this continues, this will surely help revitalize the economy and provide some relief to each person's budget. This can help ends meet. Is this going to last?
Not Likely! OPEC decided that the low oil prices must indicate that there is just too much surplus and availability of oil right now. Thereby, OPEC is officially cutting production again! On October 24, the ministers agree to a 1.5 million barrels per day production cut! Ouch! Oil investors are going berserk with dropping oil prices and gas prices! The investors are losing money. You know what that means... Their influence will change the current direction at all cost. In many Midwest states, due to dropping gas prices and people cutting back in driving habits, new construction plans of many ethanol plants have stopped or seriously delayed. Many other large oil companies in North America are scaling back in production and new drilling ventures. The expensive ventures in the Canadian oil sands being the hardest hit and delays. So right now, the current situation of gas or petrol prices is the best ever for consumers.
There are other forces and powers in the world that would do what they can to turn it the opposite direction.
This is attributed to one of the reasons, that each person has acted upon themselves to cut back in driving habits, buying more fuel economy cars and pushing the envelope of other alternative technology and fuels! You and I need to continue our efforts and encourage others to find other alternatives for our driving habits. To modify our cars for the best fuel efficiency options!
We all need to keep up the drive to reduce gas prices, eliminate our dependency on foreign oil, and stop global warming!
